When Healthy Habits Are No Longer Enough:
Midlife Metabolism, Energy, Sleep & Peptide Education Workshop
Live Zoom Small-Group Workshop – April 28
For many of us, midlife brings a shift that is hard to explain. You may still be eating well, exercising consistently, and taking care of yourself, yet you’re noticing changes you can’t quite correct with effort alone:
- metabolism that feels slower or less responsive
- stubborn body composition changes
- lower or inconsistent energy
- sleep that feels lighter, shorter, or more interrupted
- slower recovery after workouts
- increased inflammation or joint discomfort
You’re not imagining it, and it isn’t a lack of discipline.
In midlife, several systems in the body begin to communicate differently. Hormones, metabolism, sleep regulation, and cellular signaling all change at the same time, which is why many women feel like the habits that worked for years suddenly stop producing the same results.
You may have heard conversations about peptides, but the information online is often confusing, polarized, or overly simplified.
This small-group educational workshop is designed to provide clear, balanced understanding.
During this one-hour online session, Shift Life’s integrative and functional nutrition health coach Jenny Goldberg Perin will sharen:
- what peptides are (in simple, understandable terms)
- how metabolism, energy, and sleep are connected in midlife
- why recovery and inflammation often change during this stage of life
- why lifestyle habits still form the foundation
- who may be an appropriate candidate to discuss peptide therapy with a physician and who may not be
- what support and coaching look like alongside medical care
The goal is to help you better understand your body and your options so you can make thoughtful, informed decisions in a safe and non-judgmental environment. There will be time for questions and discussion.

“Jenny focused on my (and my family’s) needs. Never once did I feel like she was pushing some-thing I didn’t want – diets, fads, no meat, etc. I can’t thank her enough for what she has taught me, and I highly recommend taking the leap for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”
